2021 Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible set for global debut

Remember the unveiling of the Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible at the start of the year? This grand and elegant model is set to make its global debut soon. The event will take place in France at the Cheval Blanc in Saint-Tropez. It is the first member of the new Collections portfolio previewed by Bentley Mulliner.

This Bentley Continental GT Mulliner enhances the essence of grand touring. It gets the fusion of advancement and power from the 6.0-litre 12-cylinder engine. For smoother and faster gear shift experience, it also holds an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The massive engine is capable of putting out 635 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. With such power, the car can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds, before topping at 333 kmph.

Apart from this, there will also be a smaller engine option in the form of 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo which can produce 550 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. This engine model gets a top speed of 318 kmph after hitting a 0-100 km acceleration in 4.1 seconds.

The cabin of this Bentley Continental GT Mulliner convertible has some very interesting additions. The entertainment package includes a 20-channel Naim audio system that has 18 speakers and two active base transducers. The visuals of the cabin are done in a triple-tone color theme in eight custom-made sets.

The cabin also displays a very high level of craftsmanship. Double Diamond quilted seats and nearly 400,000 stitches on the embroidery. According to the automaker, it took over 18 months to complete this visual embroidery treat.

On the outside, the Bentley Continental GT Mulliner drives on 22-inch alloy wheels that have self-levelling badges. Other exterior highlights include the Mulliner-branded side vents, that continue its unique silver-on-black diamond theme.

The car is set for debut as a part of the automaker’s Europe Summer Tour. So, all we have to do is wait for the car to be officially available for the world to see and take note of.
