2023 Range Rover Sport revealed; it’s a PHEV with 113 km range
In addition to releasing the 2023 Range Rover Sport, Land Rover also announced that it will launch an all-electric version of the Porsche Cayenne rival in 2024, becoming the brand's first-ever electric vehicle. Despite not offering an electric model from launch, the Sport is still a big step up from its predecessor with a new 4.4-litre V8 and a choice of two PHEV drivetrains that have a range of up to 113km.

This minimalist design results in a drag coefficient of just 0.29. The Sport edition features a new slim grille and headlights that distinguish it from the previous models. The taillight is aligned horizontally with vertical pieces following the same pattern at the rear. Furthermore, the SUV is adorned with unique bumpers and copper accents.

A range of electric powertrains will be available for the 2023 Range Rover Sport. In base S and HSE models, the 3.0-litre inline-6 engine puts out 355hp and 500Nm, while a mild-hybrid system can produce a cumulative 395hp and 550Nm. With the same powertrain, but a bigger 140hp electric motor and a 31.8kWh battery, the P440e Autobiography model boasts 434hp and 839Nm of torque. First Edition P530 models come with a larger 4.4-litre V8 engine that produces 523hp and 750Nm of torque (these models will be produced for only one year). All models come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard.
