Aston Martin reveals details of production-spec Callum Vanquish 25

Get ready for some action from Aston Martin. According to the latest official confirmation, the Callum Vanquish 25 will enter its production phase this upcoming September.  Also, some of the specifications of the car have been revealed by the automaker.

Now, let’s get straight to the technical details. The Aston Martin Callum Vanquish 25 will be powered by a 5.9-litre, V12 engine with natural-aspiration (yes, no turbochargers). Besides just the high displacement capacity, the engine will get some modifications on the exhaust and camshaft to boost up the power production to a whopping 588 PS. As for the transmission, the mechanism would include a 6-speed torque-converter auto gearbox with either the original automated manual or a conventional manual stick.

Also, there will be a lot of technical specifications to enhance performance even further. The sports car will get 20-inch wheels that will be covered by Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. The car has 60 mm wider tracks, along with 10 mm lower ride height than the standard Vanquish.

The carbon-ceramic brakes are larger in diameter now. Specially tuned Bilstein dampers take care of the suspension. And yes, the sporty ride quality and safety are further enhanced with the presence of stiffer suspension and anti-roll bars.

Aesthetically, the Aston Martin Callum Vanquish 25 will take a lot of designing cues from the original Vanquish. However, there are still a lot of elements that differentiate the two visually. The design of the LED headlamps, bumpers and grille, for example, is much more modern. Even the taillights are new and more appealing.

The Aston Martin Callum Vanquish 25 will get three optional 20-inch alloy designs and an infinite number of body colours. Besides that, there would be eight bespoke trim colours available. The first batch of the car will enter production in September and will be sent to European and Latin-American markets. The pricing would be £550,000 (just under SGD 1,000,000). The entire portfolio is expected to be delivered by the end of 2020.
