Fourth-gen Toyota Voxy and Noah book the calendar for 2022

Toyota has recently released a teaser for its 4th generation models of the beloved minivans - Voxy and Noah! The sibling models are all set to make their debut sometime around January 2022. 

Both the models, Vxoy and Noah, were first introduced in the market in 2001, followed up by the second generation model in 2007, and the third and last in 2014. Looking at the success that it has over the years, we feel that this new update has been long due and according to the first look, it will be worth the wait. 

Here is what we know about these upcoming models.

Firstly, the new minivans will not be as large as their siblings the Vellfire and the Alphard, but they will not be like the luxury-oriented Esquires either. The previous-generation Toyota Voxy used to be slightly more stylish and aggressive as compared to the Toyota Noah. 

And from what we saw in the trailer, the Voxy’s aggressive styling will be inherited in its 4th generation model as well. It will be sporting a massive grille upfront, continuing up to the front bumper. It will also be sporting stylish LED headlamps.

In comparison, the Toyota Noah will be a little subtle with lower two-tier headlamps complete with an impressive grille mesh. Toyota has also promised that both the models will retain their dimensions, along with their signature boxy shape. 

This denotes that both the minivans will be around 185 inches or 4700 mm long. We’re expecting the minivans to be accompanied by the TNGA or the Toyota New Global Architecture underpin. 

According to rumors, both the minivans will be equipped with hybrid and petrol powertrains, complete with a CVT. However, this is yet to be confirmed and we can expect to hear more on this front by next month. 

As of now, the third-generation models of the Toyota Voxy and the Noah are available in Singapore and no news of the 4th generation’s debut in the Singapore market has been available as of yet. Stay tuned for more updates!
