Fourth-generation Geely Emgrand official images revealed

Post the release of its Coolray, the Chinese automaker Geely is back with their third sub-compact sedan offering in the segment, the 2021 Geely Emgrand. How do we know? Well, the automaker has made it official with images shared on its social media platforms last week.

Following the initial release of images that gave us a better idea of the exterior, we now have a clear picture of the car’s premium interior design thanks to new photos posted by the automaker on its WeChat platform.

Given the initial looks of the interior of the car, we’ve already had an idea of the minimalist cabin space that the automaker wants to portray. However, with the release of the second set of photos circulating over the internet, we get to know Geely has redesigned its cabin space to make a statement.

Upfront, we can see a slim and horizontal dashboard with a freestanding touchscreen taking the centre stage. Added to the key highlights are a full-width air vent design, a tall centre console, a T-shaped gear lever, and digital dials that bring out the sophistication in design. The pictures also present us with the chrome accents present around the door cards, air vents, climate control switches, and the centre console which adds to the overall look inside the car.

Talking of the exterior design of the car, it continues to feature a basic sedan shape that is accompanied by a simple but appealing design feature. The car is accompanied by strong lines that run throughout the body. One unique approach in the Emgrand is that it ditches the sweeping curves and low rooflines from Geely’s lineup.

However, the automaker has continued to give it a signature look via the slatted waterfall grille, alluring headlights, and N-shaped graphics.

Lastly, while there are no possible details available on the powertrain yet, we’re expecting the Emgrand to carry all petrol, diesel, and hybrid options.
