Foxconn reveals three EV prototypes

The Taiwanese electronics creator Hon Hai Technology Group, globally renowned as Foxconn, has officially unveiled its three electric cars (EVs) concepts that plagued its technology day late last week.

Essentially designed to showcase the inclinations of the company's R&D and production team, the trio of Foxtron-built, consists of the Crossover Model C, the Model E sedan, and the Model T electric bus. What makes the trio more special is its distinct and accentuating configuration. 

Foxconn Model C

Apart from being the first car ever to be built on its MIH Open Platform, as claimed by the company, the Model C is a fully electric SUV with a low 0.21 drag coefficient. With an extended 2.86 meter wheelbase, the car can facilitate up to 7 adults in its 5+2 configuration. Performance specifications, including crossing the 100 kmph mark in a super fascinating 3.8 seconds. The SUV is domestically planned to be on sale in 2023.

On the other side, the luxury flagship sedan, the Model E, is crafted to target mid to high-end consumers. Developed under a partnership with an Italian design company, Pininfarina, the sedan is boasted as a business chariot. A pure future on board with high edge transferable rear seating, the sedan can seamlessly connect personal mobile devices to the passenger car. 

Though the technical detailing is yet to be released, the company claims the Model E offers quite many features just like the Model C and would offer a standstill to 100 kmph in only 2.8 seconds with a driving range of 750 km.

Foxconn Model T

Meanwhile, the Model T proclaimed to be an intelligent transportation solution, is a stylish city bus having a body with high rigidity and protection, meeting all the standards of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The specifications revealed include an endurance range of more than 400 km, offering a maximum speed of 120 kmph. 

Amidst all of these up stalls, what's remarkable is that the Taiwanese company has also signed a JV agreement with Geely, the Chinese MNC, to provide consulting services in production processes and information and communication technology. Well, that's not it. The company is also all set to work with Fisker based in California for project PEAR.
