Great Wall Ora Good Cat to make its Thai Debut on October 29
Great news from the Chinese automaker Great Wall! Its much-awaited Ora Good Cat now finally has a launch date for Thailand and it is October 29, 2021. We are excited to know more about this model when it officially lands on the market but up till now, here are some of the details that have been shared with us.
The launch of the Ora Good Cat caused a stir when Great Wall revealed that this is going to be their very first fully electric automobile in the Thai market. Firstly came to light by Thai publication Headlightmag, the upcoming car will be available in three variants, namely the Pro, Tech, and the top-of-the-range Ultra, all three variants have a rather cute, retro-inspired body design. According to sources, it will sport two-tone color options and will feature a single electric motor on its front axle with a front-wheel-drive layout.
The Pro and Tech versions will sport a 400km range battery while the Ultra will sport a 500km range battery. All three variants are rumored to come with battery capacities of either 47.8 kWh or 59.1 kWh which will require around 8 hours to fully charge.
Here comes the most exciting aspect of this electric crossover - its plethora of exciting features. The Great wall has included an Ora Pilot Driving feature, complete with intelligent curve assist, automated throttle control, and adaptive cruise control - a very handy semi-autonomous driving suite. It will also flaunt Wisdom Dodge and Ora Pilot Safety, both focused on keeping the car and its occupants safe from collision.
Although the price of these upcoming models for Thailand is still under wraps, the Ora Good Cat is priced between 103,900 yuan (SGD 21,022) to 143,900 yuan (SGD 29,088) in China.
