Jaguar E-Pace gets a refresh for 2021
Jaguar E-Pace is a model that took over the XE’s place in the brand’s lineup, and now the small crossover has finally been introduced with a few updates for 2021. While it is no hidden fact that Jaguar has been refreshing its product range globally, the entry-level luxury SUV E-Pace has been able to bring out a sense of freshness.
Talking about the exterior tweaks of the vehicle, the 2021 E-Pace can be seen with a re-designed front. The design feature has now been adapted for lower intake to adapt to a blade element that also receives mesh grille design. The other notable changes in the front of the car can be seen around its diamond detailing that is paired with a chrome finish besides its side fender vents that come along with the marque’s Leaper emblem.
Moving around the back of the vehicle, changes can be witnessed on the lower end of the rear bumper. The new change is a tweak in its design with mesh inserts that carry their way around the exhaust outlets.
The car also receives standard exhaust tips on the four-cylinder petrol variants besides giving a slim horizontal blade trim to the others. Another interesting upgrade around the E-Pace is the adaption of all-LED headlamps that incorporates the ‘double-J’ signature. The headlights are optionally available with Pixel LED technology as well.
The powertrain lineup of the 2021 E-Pace is vast and now includes five petrol and three diesel engines, out of these four petrol and two diesel mills are mild hybrids. The base plug-in hybrid with a 1.5L three-cylinder turbo engine gives out a combined output of 198 hp besides 280 Nm of torque. The other options include a 2.0L inline-four Ingenium petrol powertrain that is again available in three different outputs.
Lastly, the 2021 Jaguar E-Pace price gets a $1045 (SGD 1425) increase as compared to last year.
