Meet the one-off Lamborghini Aventador S Yamamoto

After the recent launch of the Lamborghini Lounge in Tokyo, the automaker has introduced a one-off creation that goes by the name Aventador S Yamamoto. The model is designed to celebrate the opening of its ‘second of its kind’ venue around the globe after the US.

Designed in collaboration with the world-renowned fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, the Aventador has been reimagined with strips and paints running across its body. The supercar represents similar patterns like the collection Yamamoto brought to the 2020 Paris Fashion Week.

Talking of the exterior of the vehicle, it represents a playground of art that was canvassed by the Centro Stile. The car gets more aggressive in its looks with the likes of red and black shades that are wrapped around its body. One can also notice Japanese inscriptions across its doors.

While the distinctive pattern is a direct adaption from the clothes, the style seems to be more refined and improved. Talking about his collaboration experience with the Italian automaker, Yohji Yamamoto exclaimed, “With their inimitable design, Lamborghini super sports cars are more instantly recognizable than any other car manufacturer – just one glance is enough”

Lamborghini representative Borkert said, “It has been exciting to have the chance to work with Yohji Yamamoto, the world-renowned fashion icon, who innately understood our significant Lamborghini design DNA. Our collaboration inspired this outstanding artwork and design for the Aventador S, which was unveiled today, and celebrates Italian craftsmanship connecting with Japanese culture,”

Besides its exterior, the interiors of the car are worth the hype. The car’s interior revolves around a similar black and red theme. Interestingly, the automaker has also introduced its new setting to reveal a new capsule collection by Yamamoto amidst this styling collaboration. The capsule pack includes a mod coat, hoodie sweatshirt, and a bomber jacket. All the items carry a similar resemblance to the pattern adorning the supercar.

Lastly, the drivetrain of the vehicle remains unchanged with the 6.5L NA V12 engine.
