Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition debuts; limited to 10 units

Lamborghini has introduced the world to the special edition SVJ Xago Edition, following the release of convertible SVJ version, earlier this year. The latest offering by the brand features a custom look, inspired by the hexagonal design patterns. Apart from releasing a 10 units limited car, the brand also released a virtual Ad Personam studio, taking a step ahead on virtual presence.

The Xago edition marks an aerodynamical styling, inspired by natural hexagon clouds, representing “the strength of the hexagon in nature”. The most notable feature of the car is its exterior styling that provides the vehicle with faded hexagonal patterns printed on the door panels.

Apart from the doors, the six-sided shape theme extends to the interior of the car, making its way to the seats. The car also gets Xago-edition-specific wheels besides sporting a similar aerodynamical structure as the newly introduced Sian model.

Coming to the drivetrain of the SVJ Xago edition, the car will be featuring a similar setup as the SVJ. The drivetrain comprises a 6.5-litre V12 engine, giving out 770 hp of power and 720 Nm of peak torque. The 6.5L engine will be covering 96 km in a record time of 2.9 seconds, maxing out at 349 kmph.

Every unit of Xago edition will have a special number plate, created by Lamborghini’s new virtual Ad Personam studio. The newly released Personam Ad studio will be providing digital consultations, comprising a video call, giving in a detailed walk around the car, and personalization for the same.

Lamborghini commercial chief Giovanni Perosino said: “We still look forward to welcoming clients to Sant’Agata Bolognese in the future, but we expect more than 150 Ad Personam consultations to take place virtually within this year and continuing as an option for the future. With the support of our dealers worldwide, who also have significant personalization experience and, of course, samples and materials in their own dealerships, we have the exciting opportunity in an increasingly digital age to create one-off Lamborghini models virtually.”

Lastly, the car is said to be offered at a price of $560,000.
