Lamborghini teases a new supercar, set for debut on July 7
While the automaker Lamborghini is mostly tight-lipped with its plans for the upcoming cars, it confirmed its two new offerings for 2021, earlier this year. Yes, the brand will be adding two V12 models to its existing lineup this year.
Recently, Automobili Lamborghini confirmed that it will be revealing one of the two V12 models on July 7, 2021. While the Italian carmaker isn’t ready to reveal much about the upcoming car, its tagline for the vehicle says, “it takes time to become timeless.”
Now, as per rumours and suggestions surfacing the internet, the upcoming car might be the final version of the Aventador. Timeless is certainly the most suitable word to describe the Aventador. The reason is simple, the automaker has put in a lot of effort over the years to keep updating its offering via special editions.
Further, it should also be noted that the Aventador, which made its initial debut at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2011, is over a decade old now. To add to it, Lamborghini has also posted a new teaser image on its Facebook account.
The image likely gives us a peek at the preview of one of the two upcoming models. The image highlights the familiar LED daytime running light design that can be found on the Aventador. Currently, that’s the only proper information that we have as the rest are hidden away in the shadows.
To add to the image, a spy video from May gave us a partially camouflaged and mysterious Aventador which was being tested. The car’s entire side sills, front end, and rear fenders were completely hidden. At its rear, the coupe sported the SVJ’s exhaust and diffuser, making the car look like an Aventador S.
Lastly, while the first car is coming out on July 7, the other V12 model by Lamborghini is expected to be its high-powered hybrid model.
