Say hello to the Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series
Lamborghini is making the headlines with its more recent offerings i.e. the latest edition of the Aventador S Roadster. However, this time, the Italian automaker isn’t going to launch the product globally. as the latest Aventador S Roadster is a limited edition car for South Korea.
When it comes to Lamborghini, South Korea has been one of the hubs that attract heavier sales of the Italian supercar badge. The automaker is one of the largest dealers there as the enthusiasts for the car are also in great numbers. And, thus it reveals a limited-edition model exclusive to the market.
However, ‘Limited’ for Lamborghini means that they have only made the car available in two units. Each of the Special Edition Aventador S Roadsters has a different flavor. Interestingly, both the car models highlight a different element of South Korea in their designs.
The 2-unit limited-edition models were jointly developed by the Italian carmaker’s Centro Stile department and Lamborghini Seoul.
Talking of the latest Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series, both the cars highlight different exterior paints. One of the cars is offered in Green Ocno finish that highlights “warm Korean sentiment.” While the other car comes wrapped in a Blue Emera colorway which showcases “intelligence and wisdom.”
The special elements on the exterior of the car feature criss-cross patterns across the hood, door panels, and rear fenders. Similar pattern features can be seen on the traditional Korean windows. Further, the engine bay sports two trigrams of the Korean flag (Geon and Gam).
Talking of their offering, Francesco Scardaoni, Regional Director for Automobili Lamborghini in the Asia Pacific said, “We are excited to introduce the highly-exclusive Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series to Lamborghini enthusiasts in Korea. This special series further highlights the importance of the Korean super sports car market for Lamborghini. Featuring design elements that symbolize the rich Korean culture and heritage, it definitely stands out and inculcates a strong sense of national pride when it's on the Korean roads."
Lastly, under the hood, the car continues to be equipped with the automaker’s 6.5L V12 engine, producing 730 hp of power.
