Toyota GR Yaris embraces race-ready GR body kit
In collaboration with Gazoo, Toyota has recently revamped GR Yaris to give it a complete track-ready look. The car appears more aggressive than ever before. The GR body kit is supposed to add more agility and performance to the car.
On the outside, the Gazoo has worked around the overall stance and appeal of the GR Yaris. Now even sportier than before, it adapts to high visual enhancements with a massive front bumper diffuser that compromises a bit with the ground clearance of the car and reduces it by 12 mm. On the brighter side, users would get an appealing look on their cars.
Besides its front bumper diffuser, GR Yaris also picks up matching gloss black side skirts that move around the car seamlessly and continue to add aggressiveness on the rear of the car. Interestingly, the car also receives a new diffuser with four integrated exhaust pipes. The additional touches around the car include visual upgrades like carbon fibre number plate frame, tire valve caps, and body strips.
The cabin also complies with the GR Yaris’s sporty exterior look; the Gazoo body kit complements it with a number of interior touches. The car gets a well-designed cabin space with special sport seats that get the GR mark. A similar treatment can be seen on the floor mats and the luggage compartment mat as well.
The dashboard also displays a sporty meter with illuminance control, enhanced by the presence of the carbon-like interior trim panels on the dashboard and door panels. Moreover, the interior also comprises of a Gazoo data recording device that attaches to the GR Yaris’ USB hub and provides performance data readable with a special computer application.
However, the only component available in the GR body kit that improves the sporty hatchback's performance is the tow bar on the front end of the car. Not only its red edges cater to an appearance boost in the engine section, but the red engine cover also enhances the performance of the vehicle.
Lastly, there have been no power upgrades in the three-door hatch. Talking about its arrival in Singapore, the car is due to hit the shores in the latter half of 2021.
