Toyota reveals its Cross Yaris Adventure, Ahead of Launch in the UK, Europe

Toyota has introduced a new variant to the upcoming Yaris Cross, in Europe and the UK. The SUV that is expected to hit the showrooms in May, will go by the name Adventure in Europe, and Dynamic in the United Kingdom.

The new offering aims to provide the Toyota Yaris with a more dynamic, rugged look that adds elements of an off-roader in the car. The automaker claims that their upcoming offering “emphasizes the car’s suitability for life beyond urban streets”; backing their claims with 18-inch wheels that come in a dark-gray finish.

Talking of the overall exterior, the Adventure or Dynamic sports front and rear bumper protection plates, complemented by a set of silver roof rails that add to the dual-tone shade of the car. Overall, the car resonates with a dark gray tone that brings forth the sharp styling elements present throughout the front and the rear.

Under the hood, the car is sourced with a hybrid setup that comprises a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine, paired with a compact electric motor. The setup generates 114 hp of power in its all-wheel-drive configuration. Considering their move towards a greener future, Toyota has designed the hybrid mill for CO2 emissions of fewer than 100g/km.

Meanwhile, the interior of the car continues to carry a similar dark tone treatment with its piano black trim pieces that mate perfectly with the black headliner. The smartly designed cabin space is a mark of comfort and practicality with a soft-touch dashboard and seats that are upholstered in a leather-like material that is limited to the Adventure design.

Other notable cues of the interior of the car include a sharply styled deco line that runs across its dashboard and the moldings present in the inner door. Interestingly, the leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift lever make it to that one specific highlight that makes this offering superior on all fronts.

Lastly, at its first 12 months of sales, buyers can club their offering with the Premiere Edition package of the Adventure. The package adds plush interior upgrades and an added feature among others.
