Toyota teases the 2022 Tundra with a large moonroof
After giving us a glimpse of the third-generation Toyota Tundra in June, the Japanese automaker continues its teaser campaigns as the launch of the revamped pick-up truck is around the corner. While Toyota has already introduced the exterior look of its upcoming truck, the current teaser revolves around the interiors.
The new teaser provided us with a peek at the pick-up truck’s dashboard, giving us a highlight of some of the other features that can be expected from the upcoming offering, ahead of the official reveal.
The pickup gets a massive-sized new tablet-style infotainment touch-screen, supporting features like Apple CarPlay and native sat-nav. The teaser also gave us a preview of the new Tundra’s huge dual-panel panoramic sunroof besides the fan-favorite rear window that opens at full width.
The upcoming 2022 Tundra will be providing the automakers with a rear glass, which will open to allow maximum airflow. This move with the rear window is considered as a trick to revive the diminishing tradition in new vehicles.
Compared to the previous generation, the automaker provided the rear window of the car with functionality where the entire rear window can be raised or lowered electronically. This way, the car would allow maximum airflow through the cab.
In addition to the power rear window, the Tundra’s massive panoramic moonroof continues to be one of the major USPs. Besides these, the other noticeable features in the upcoming truck are leather upholstery and microphones, and speakers mounted on the headliner.
As mentioned above, the automaker revealed the exterior look of the pickup in the previous teaser. The significant changes include a massive hexagonal-shaped grille flanked by T-shaped headlamps.
Well, with more teasers following the campaign, we are expecting the automaker to reveal more of the pick-up truck in the upcoming weeks.
