TRA Kyoto releases Rocket Bunny body kit for Toyota GR 86
The Toyota GR 86 is a sporty-looking car, and to make it look more aggressive, the TRA Kyoto (Tops Racing Arts Kyoto) has revealed a Rocket Bunny body kit. The latter not only offers a sporty appeal but at the same time aids the car in flaunting a wider stance.
The Rocket Bunny kit will surely have a significant role in making the new 86 look far better. From the front, the car looks wider, thanks to the new front fascia. However, if we take a closer look at it, one can spot that the design seems to shrink in the center.
One of the most noticeable changes in the front bumper has to be the duct that not only looks sporty but, at the same time, it is quite functional and aids in sipping the air to cool down the motor. The canards run to the angled sections from the lower corners and go to the front splitter. The splitter aids in offering a lower stance to the vehicle.
Moving to the rear of the vehicle, the kit adds a sporty wing with edges that are turned down. The latter will surely help in offering adequate down-force at higher speeds. Talking about the rear bumper, it helps the exhaust pipes to stay in the stock location.
When it comes to the powertrain of the new GR 86, it gets a 2.4-litre flat-four naturally aspirated engine, which is capable of churning out 228 horsepower and 249 Nm of torque. The transmission duties can be handled by either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox.
Even though the new GR 86 gets nearly the same platform, the new one helps in offering enhanced rigidity thanks to the reinforcements at the rear and front.
If we take a closer look at the GR 86 that comes with the Rocket Bunny body kit, it can be noticed that the interior has been revamped, and a roll cage has been installed.
