Small but superbly refined
This is Merc’s smallest and cheapest roadster. The SLC Roadster was never a Boxster-baiting type of sports car. Think of the car as more of a shrunken SL and it will start making sense. It’s a comfortable, all year roadster. The car has an undeniably glamorous look. While the cramped cabin is somewhat of a damper, it has a number of upgraded technological features, including an alert system to prevent possible mishaps. The handling is extremely refined. Even the smaller, 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter engine is a pleasure to ride with no delay in performance. The cabin looks dated since it has not been changed since 2011.
