2021 Nissan March facelift debuts in Mexico

As per the latest updates from Nissan, the automaker has facelifted its fifth-gen March (more popularly known as the Micra) for Mexico. The offering resonates with similar styling as the Almera.

With the continued existence in the Mexico market where it is manufactured majorly, the car celebrates 10 years of existence in 2021. To commemorate the event, the automaker has decided to give its sales topper a second refresh over the years. The second facelift of the car now enjoys a similar styling as the Almera.

Talking about the exterior design features in the second facelift, the car highlights a comprehensive nip and tuck from its inspiration. One of the major features is the large V-motion grille that seems to have been directly adopted from the Almera. The styling is also surrounded by a carbon fiber surround that shows arrow-shaped halogen headlights, paired with similarly designed LED accent light strips.

Overall, the exterior of the car resonates with a more aggressive look, giving way to the previously minimalist design of the car. In its current form, the car showcases a sportier aesthetic, running right from the exterior of the car to its interior. Similar to its styling in the front, the car carries highlighted rear vents and a diffuser-style bumper insert that enhances the looks of the car.

Highlighting a major portion of the rear end of the car are the LED tail light guides that give it a completely similar look to the Almera.

Moving in, the car resonates with the previously accessible cabin space. However, you can notice elements of freshness with the flat-bottomed steering wheel that complements its looks with a redesigned center console, paired with a tablet-style panel that houses a 6.7-inch touchscreen. The display is linked to the NissanConnect infotainment system, providing features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Lastly, the car continues to offer a similar powertrain option as its existing variants.
