All-new Mazda CX-60 introduced in Europe
KUALA LUMPUR: After a series of teasers as recent as yesterday, Mazda has finally revealed the CX-60 In Europe.

The all-new Mazda CX-60 will go on sale in Europe this year and will be followed by a bigger, three-row CX-80 SUV, due for 2023.The new CX-60 is part of the brand’s new SUV onslaught that includes the recently launched CX-50, and is still due are the CX-70, CX-80, and CX-90.
The CX-60 is Mazda’s first model to sit in its latest platform as part of the Large Product set of cars, giving us an idea as to what to look forward to from the automaker.
Mazda CX-60 design
The new CX-60’s long bonnet and dash-to-axle ratio represent the SUV’s rear-wheel drive-derived proportions. It features the latest evolution of the brand's Kodo design philosophy that follows the concept of ‘Noble Toughness’.
Part of the car’s exterior highlights is - a bolder front-end design with a flatter nose, unique headlight with signature DRLs extending past the main lighting setup, bold side fenders, L-shaped sleek tail light design, and several chrome trims.

Mazda CX-60 colour options
The CX-60 is offered in three striking signature colours, including the all-new Rhodium White, and existing Soul Red Crystal and Machine Gray tones.
Mazda CX-60 cabin
Mazda’s new SUVs cabin comes wrapped in plush material like maple wood, chrome trims, Nappa leather, and Japanese textiles. On the dashboard sits a new, massive 12.3-inch infotainment display and first-time ever in Mazda - a fully-digital instrument panel.
Part of the CX-60’s standard equipment list is - Apple CarPlay & Android Auto support, a new Driver Personalistion System with an onboard camera for facial recognition to automatically adjust the settings to the driver’s preference.
Mazda CX-60 power plant
The CX-60 arrives in Europe with the brand's first-ever plug-in hybrid powertrain, dubbed e-Skyactiv PHEV. It combines a naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre four-cylinder mill and an e-motor, together they pump out a maximum power output of 327 hp along with a peak torque of 500 Nm. The drive is sent to all-four wheels via an i-Activ all-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Moving forward, Mazda will add more engine options to the CX-60s specs sheet, including a Skyactiv-D 3.3-litre turbo diesel and an e-SkyActiv X 3.0-litre petrol unit. Both two-cylinder options are equipped with 48V mild-hybrid technology.

Being the automaker’s most powerful car ever, the CX-60 goes from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.8 seconds and attains a top speed of 200 kmph.
The e-motor is powered by a 17.8-kWh lithium-ion battery that allows for a fully-electric driving range of around 63 km at speeds up to 100 kmph.
The all-new Mazda CX-60 will go on sale in Europe this year and will be followed by a bigger, three-row CX-80 SUV, due for 2023.
