Everrati’s electrified Porsche 911 comes to life, puts out up to 500hp

There’s nothing quite like being the owner of a classic Porsche. The brand has always had a special place in our hearts and the 964-gen 911 holds a special place in the collections of many. However, if for some reason you are not a fan of the internal combustion engines of the beast, you might have just got lucky.

The internet is currently flooded by Everrati’s fully electric supercar, a reworked 1991 Porsche 911. The latest car to dominate the ‘retro sports car with batteries squeezed in’ segment is the 911 Everrati Signature widebody. The battery pack is able to pour out 500 hp worth of power when compared to its traditional flat-six engine.

Talking of the resto-modded 911, the accident-free vehicle was firstly stripped to its monocoque chassis. Everrati began working from the bare minimum by removing all the powertrain, bodywork, and interior components inside the car. The team of engineers about to make history, then water-blasted the remaining sheet metal with a zinc coating, in order to inspect and treat the 911’s shell for rust prevention.

In terms of modifications inside the car, Everrati used a lot of carbon fiber, in order to mitigate the weight gain that the car would undergo while adapting to the electric powertrain. Later, the combustion engine was replaced by a 53-kWh battery pack, fixed between the axles, providing over 240 km of range on a single charge.

Sharing their experience around the development process, Everrati’s founder and CEO said “Using modern engineering techniques and integrating advanced EV powertrains, we further enhance each car’s performance,” he further added, “while ensuring they have a similar driving ‘feel’ with weight distribution—and overall weight—mirroring that of the original, enabling automotive icons like the Porsche 911 (964) to be reborn for the coming age of zero-emission mobility, yet with soul intact.”

Lastly, the company affirms that it’ll continue developing this ‘Signature’ widebody resto-mod and start taking orders for interested parties.
