Lexus revealed more images of the upcoming electrified sedan concept

In 2021, Toyota and Lexus jointly revealed 16 EVs in their drive towards carbon neutrality. The lineup included several commercial vehicles, SUVs, and passenger cars. In 2022, Lexus revealed pictures of one of those vehicles - the rear and side pictures of a vehicle, now identified as the Electrified Sedan Concept. Let's see what this upcoming vehicle will offer.

From what we hear, the upcoming Electrified Sedan Concept will be entirely battery-powered. Thus, the concept car does not have any exhaust outlets on the rear end.

The revealed pictures guarantee that the new design will set the sedans and the sports cars apart from the SUVs. The vehicle's front-end looks similar to the electrified Lexus sports car concept showcased as a part of Toyota's EV lineup.

The front will feature an arched nose that points down from the car's windshield. The headlamps look more significant than we expected, and they are the cooling inlets for the vehicle's electrical powertrain. The vehicle will also feature a low regular-looking grille for further cooling. The fog lamp and headlamps have also been pushed deeper into the intakes.

The tail lamps draw inspiration from the current Lexus vehicles like the LC. The rear treatment also looks quite similar to Lexus’s current IS sedan. The sloping fastback connects with the vehicle's rear end above the Lexus script at the ducktail spoiler.

The sides of the vehicle look comparatively less aggressive. It has a simple character line extending from the front wheel ends through the front and back doors, through the rear window line, and flowing into the C-pillar.

Lexus is yet to reveal any dates for the production-ready version of the stunning Electrified Sedan Concept. But keeping in mind Lexus's broader EV roll-out plans, the carmaker might offer the electric car lineup by 2030 in China, Europe, and North America. Other markets will receive the vehicle around 2035.

That's all we know for now. Stay tuned for more updates!
