Mercedes-Benz launches the new S-Class in the Philippines

Mercedes-Benz has recently pulled the wraps off the 2022  S-Class in the Philippines. Adding to the range of offerings, the new S-Class comes equipped with the latest technologies while ensuring the highest level of comfort and luxury.

Talking about the specs and thoughtful innovations, the new S-Class from the luxury carmaker mainly focuses on the people. The seventh-generation S-Class has a more modernized design of the carmaker's ‘sensual purity’ philosophy. Talking about its exteriors, the highlights of this streamlined model are the Digital Headlights having a ‘three-dot design’.

The long-wheelbase format, the classic AMG Design line, and the 21-inch multispoke wheels add to the luxurious character of the new fascia. The S-Class also comes with two stunning horizontal tail lamps having an exquisite 3D-like look.

Compared to the 2020 flagship sedan models of the vehicle manufacturer, the new variant is much sleeker with a futuristic interior. It comes equipped with multiple touchscreens, including touchscreen displays and a tablet mounted on the armrest.

In the Philippine market, the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class has only one engine option. That’s a 3.0-litre turbocharged gasoline inline-6 engine that runs with a power of 435 hp and a torque of 520 Nm.

The engine is also powered with a standard 48-volt integrated generator/starter, which provides an extra boost of 22 PS/250 Nm and runs a second electric compressor. The mill has a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission, while it covers the 0-100 kmph within 4.9 seconds.

On the other hand, the standard kit of the S-Class includes noise-reduced tires having foam absorbers, power-closing doors, Airmatic air suspension, executive seat, a Burmese 15-speaker 3D surround sound system, leather seat upholstery, 12.8-inch OLED central display, and MBUX high-end entertainment system attached with the rear seat.

Lastly, vehicle enthusiasts will love the model’s innovative update, which is its seamless door handles that can extend automatically when a person approaches the car.
