The basic design of the dashboard, comprising of a three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel with a range of capacitive buttons, the super-wide and crisp display for the instrument console as well as the infotainment system, and the three-layered design, looks very premium and futuristic. The middle layer of the dashboard, consisting of four round AC vents with an analog clock in the middle adds a touch of classiness to the cabin.
One can rightfully expect the Mercedes-Benz S-Class to possess the finest of leather, wood, and aluminum inserts as well as a gargantuan list of comfort and convenience features, and it rightfully delivers on that front too.
S-Class Saloon Exterior
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, in all its iterations, has remained as one of the classiest and most elegant sedans the world has ever seen, and this facelifted version of the sixth-generation model is no different. The bulky yet smooth design of the Mercedes Benz S-Class is an epitome of finesse and poise.
At the front, one is welcomed by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class with its humongous grille, which is entirely finished in chrome, gets tapered sides and curved edges, and three thick chrome slats running in between. The ever-glorious Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star logo placed just above the grille looks classy. The all-LED headlamps with an array of three inverted L-shaped daytime running LEDs too look stunning.
The side profile of the Mercedes Benz S-Class looks poised with its curvy looks, with the slightly rounded roofline and pillars giving it a smooth stance. There is a fine sharp character line commencing from the front fender and tapering down towards the rear fender. What adds to its elegance is the large alloy wheels with a range of designs to choose from.
At the back, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class looks simple and classy with not much loudness in its design. The vertically slanted tail lamps are broad and have curved edges, whereas the fine chrome garnish on the boot lid and rear bumper speaks elegance too.

The S320 and S450 are powered by the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine, albeit in a different state of tunes – while the engine in the S320 pumps out 270 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque, the same engine in the S450 generates 365 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque. The range-topping S560 gets a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, which produces 468 PS of power and 700 Nm of torque. All three engine options are mated to a standard 9-speed automatic transmission.
