Toyota flaunts its Yaris GR Sport for Indonesia

News of the day is that Toyota won’t be offering the TRD Sportivo models in Indonesia, as per official news from Toyota Astra Motor (TAM). The brand has decided to remodel its lineup entirely to GR Sport. Every single model, ranging from the Agya to Fortuner, and the Yaris has been remodelled.

With its latest modifications across the lineup, the automaker is trying to introduce us to a revolution like never before. The latest offerings by the automaker make it more sporty, edgy, and aggressive in terms of its looks.

Talking of the kit accompanying the Yaris GR Sport, the model looks similarly identical to the Yaris TRD Sportivo which we had previously seen before. The latest modifications around the car revolve around its exterior where the car receives a complete revamp with its full body kit that adds to its edgier look.

Looking at the revamped exterior of the car, the car gets a sportier look, modified with a front lip, paired with an integrated diffuser and rear lip. Other modifications that can be seen around the car are the roof spoilers and GR Sport side skirts.

While there’s not much change in the interior of the car, the car looks somewhat similar on the inside. Besides the similarity in its interior, the car continues to offer seven exterior color options, which are: Orange, Citrus Mica, Super White, Grey, Silver, Red Mica, and Attitude Black Mica.

Talking of the powertrain of the vehicle, the car gets four variants on offer. Powering the vehicle is a familiar 1.5L dual VVT-i four-cylinder engine, churning out a 107hp of power, besides giving out 140Nm of peak torque. Transmission options in the car include a five-speed manual or CVT, paired with seven virtual ratios as standard.

Lastly, safety features of the car include ABS with EBD, hill-start assist, and brake assist. Other safety features in the car include driver-assist systems, similar to the Yaris 1.5 E and G in Malaysia.
