Mercedes-Benz GLC Class Interior & Features
The Mercedes Benz GLC might not be sharing the latest of the interior design philosophy of the latest generation Mercedes Benz offerings. However, it is far from being dated and looks distinctive of its own.
The cabin layout is shared more or less with that of the C-Class sedan, with a rounded multi-functional steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls and a full twin-pod themed fully digital instrument console making up the driver’s cockpit. There is a free mounted almost flat touchscreen infotainment system with rounded edges at the center, below which flows the waterfall-themed center console.
The upper edges of this center console have rounded edges, with its upper portion getting round AC vents with chrome touches. The minimalist looking sleek controls for the automatic climate control make this center console finished in contrast wood theme look even classier.
GLC Class Exterior
The Mercedes Benz GLC Class boasts of a slightly crossover-ish design, which might not stay true to the traditional SUV silhouette owing to its slightly curved design and sloping bonnet. However, the design looks smart and screams the word ‘sophistication’ all around.
The front fascia of the Mercedes Benz GLC Class welcomes one with its wide trapezoidal front grille, which has got rounded edges making it looks less sharp and even wider. This grille features diamond pattern inserts with a sleek chrome line running through its midway. The wide headlamps too get rounded edges and do look really captivating with their all LED lighting theme. The wide and sporty looking bumper inserts, as well as thick silver skid plate in the middle, make it look much aggressive in persona.
The side profile of the Mercedes Benz GLC Class looks indeed smart with its slightly rounded bonnet line as well as roofline, with the window panels on the sides getting sloping and curvy theme too. The sleek and minimalist character line on the doors, as well as thin side body molding, do add some character to the otherwise simple side profile.
The rounded theme doesn’t end there, as even at the rear, the windscreen as well as the LED tail lamps with their rounded edges make the GLC look sleeker and beautiful. Again adding sportiness here are the dual exhaust pipes as well as a thick silver skid plate, covering a majority of the rear bumper portion.
