Great design, nice interior

From whichever side you look at it, the Tiguan has a handsome appearance. Though it’s drawn by a 1.4-liter engine, the 7-seater car never feels underpowered. The performance is smooth and refined. Power delivery is instant. It’s only when you climb up a slope, the power may feel in short supply. Otherwise, on the highway, the Tiguan is a nice cruiser. While the interior is great, space on the 3rd seat may be a bit crammed. But that happens with all entry-level SUVs. The suspension is a bit on the harder side. But unless it’s a major bump, the Tiguan pretty much absorbs everything.
