2021 Ford Bronco revealed

Ford has finally released the all-new Bronco after a long wait. The American off-roader now has a four-door version along with a two-door ladder-frame. Both variants are based on the T6 platform, which is also the base of the Ford Ranger. The 2021 Bronco comes with seven trim levels, including base variant, Black Diamond, Big Bend, Outer Banks, the limited-run First Edition, Badlands, and Wildtrak.

The wheel options for the different trim levels are - 

  • Base variant has 255/70 tyres on 16-inch steel wheels with silver paint.
  • Big Bend features aluminium wheels of 17-inch with Carbonized Gray colour.
  • For Balck diamond, there are two options of 17-inch either steel wheel with gloss black paint or high-gloss aluminium wheel of black colour. 
  • Outer Banks model comes with 18-inch aluminium wheels with 255/70 tyres.
  • Badlands variant features aluminium wheels of 17-inch with machined and Carbonized Gray paint.
  • The Wildtrak and First Edition feature 17-inch forged aluminium wheels with black high-gloss paint. It is optional on the Badlands variant.

The 2021 Ford Bronco features a Sync 4 infotainment system of 12-inch. It is integrated with the FordPass Performance app having off-road navigation. Furthermore, the system also supports over-the-air updates. There is a 360-degree camera on which one can see the spots of the off-road.

Coming to the engine, the 2021 Bronco is available in two gasoline units. The base is a 2.3-litre EcoBoost turbocharged mill, which is capable of pushing out a maximum power of 270 hp along with a peak torque of 420 Nm. The transmission options include a 10-speed automatic and a Getrag seven-speed manual.

On the other hand, the bigger 2.7 litre EcoBoost turbo churns out up to 310 hp power and a peak torque of 542 Nm. It is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The automaker has packed the off-roader well with an array of safety features, including personal safety system, side Curtain with rollover sensor, front and second-row safety canopy, lower anchors and tether anchors for children, trailer sway control,  tire pressure monitoring system, and Ford Co-Pilot360 technology.

As for the pricing, the base variant of the two-door Bronco is priced at US$ 29,995 (SGD 41,643). Meanwhile, the four-door version starts from US$ 34,695 (SGD 48,168).
