2021 Skoda Kodiaq facelift teased again ahead of debut

Skoda's teaser campaign for the 2021 Kodiaq facelift reveals a bit more skin of the upcoming model. The newly surfaced video highlights some minor tweaks around the exterior of the automaker’s largest SUV.

In terms of the newly revamped appeal, the Czech brand puts great emphasis on the LED lighting of the car with a pair of refreshed LED setups, both on the front and its rear. The revised modifications in the car include new LED DRLs present in the headlight area and the rear adorns a revised C-shaped theme.

However, Skoda seems to be confident about retaining its four-eyed look that is also a major USP of the brand’s lineup. Even though the automaker seems to have retained its four-eyes looks, the facelifted version is likely to get a revised appeal. The headlights are now much slimmer than before and have matrix LED set upon them.

Overall, the automaker has done a really commendable job at tweaking the fascia of the car from the front to its rear. We also expect the automaker to give us a more upright corporate grille in its front. Another notable revision around the car might be its fresh alloy wheel design and the new exterior paint job for the upcoming 2021 Kodiaq facelift.

Besides the revamped exteriors of the upcoming SUV, we are expecting some major changes under the hood. We are expecting the car to be powered by a plug-in hybrid powertrain, something that has long been due for the automaker.

Moreover, following the footsteps of the flagship Superb and the Octavia, sources also say that the car will be powered by a 2.0L TSI unit, but nothing is official at this point.

Lastly, while there is not much information available on the interiors of the car, all our doubts will be put to rest till the Kodiaq facelift pulls off the curtains on April 13.
