2022 Honda HR-V e:HEV now on sale in Europe

The all-new 2022 Honda HR-V e:HEV has now officially arrived in the European market. Powered with a hybrid powertrain, the SUV is available in three different variants- Elegance, Advance, and Advance Style. 

On one hand, the base 2022 Honda HR-V e:HEV comes with some quality features including LED headlights having LED DRLs at the front, while in the rear, there are LED combination tail lights, which are coupled with a LED strip. The car comes with a 9-inch infotainment system, which features the Honda Connect technology. Other features include an electronic parking brake switch, a rear-view camera, a total of four parking sensors (front and rear), etc.

The top-end variant of this line-up features a premium audio sound system with 10 speakers, dual-zone automatic climate control, and dual USB charging ports at the back. Moreover, there is a wireless smartphone charging tray and an electrochromic rear-view mirror too. Design-wise the top-end model gets a dual-tone paint finish, a tri-color motif (placed at the grille’s top-left side), and roof rails. 

At its heart, all the models are tuned with a 1.5 litre i-MMD hybrid powertrain. The Atkinson-cycle engine can push out a maximum power of 107 PS along with a peak torque of 131 Nm. On the other hand, the Traction Motor generates 131 PS power and 253 Nm of peak torque.

Coming to the safety features, the 2022 Honda HR-V e:HEV features a hill descent control, which starts operating from 3 kmph. It is the first European HR-V to get this premium feature. There are six airbags,  Isofix child seat anchoring points, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, AEB, and collision mitigation throttle control on both front and rear end.

Lastly, the hybrid car has a starting price tag of 31,290 euros (48,944 Singapore Dollars).
