Bentley Showcases its One-off Special Bentayga Hybrid

KUALA LUMPUR: Bentley Mulliner has unveiled a new bespoke Bentayga Hybrid, crafted specifically for a customer in China. The latest piece of art in the world of exotic cars comes covered in a dark emerald hue called Viridian, to represent harmony, hope, and growth.

While the car looks identically the same on the outside, certain elements like its paint schematics that sit between green and cyan, make the car stand out of the league. With its exterior colors packed with flecks of amber and gold, the car is a complete masterpiece in all aspects.

Moving in, the Bentayga was tastefully optioned with Cumbrian Green leather, highlighted with contrasting stitching and a similar dark green piano veneer that can be seen around its regulars. However, the silver metal overlay created by the Mulliner makes the passenger-side fascia into a geometric diamond design that is inspired by the EXP 100 GT concept car.

Adding to the beauty of the interiors in their new offering, the automaker commented on how "Using contrast carpet binding and contrasting hand stitching to the seats, Bentley Mulliner elevates the serenity and depth of the interior. The process of hand cross-stitching a Bentayga cabin takes one craftsperson 44 hours to complete. The unique thread has been designed to be extremely durable and uses special dyes to maintain its color to last for the lifespan of the vehicle."

Other notable changes inside this specially designed one-off include an illuminated Mulliner treadplate that sets the ambiance when you step inside. The automaker also takes notes and includes a completely integrated drinks cooler that is designed by themselves. Inside the cooler, one can find frosted glass with a separate illuminated bottle-chilling ring that is added with two handcrafted Cumbria Crystal flutes.

Talking about the powertrain of this specially designed one-off, the Bentayaga remains technically untouched. The car is still powered by a 3.0L V6 petrol engine paired to a 17.3 kWh lithium-ion battery.

Lastly, the finished car will be showcased at the Shanghai Motor Show, which is set to be held in China, later this month.
