BMW reveals futuristic and powerful Concept XM

BMW recently revealed a new concept M model, the Concept XM years after their first M model, the BMW M1. The new concept looks completely different from its predecessor and if it makes to production in 2022, will be a stunning high-powered vehicle. So let’s see what it promises to offer.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What powers the BMW Concept XM?

The BMW Concept XM is equipped with a V8-powered hybrid plug-in engine which will produce a power output of 750 hp with a 1,000 Nm torque.
  • Starting with the design, the XM is set to sport 2 massive kidney grilles in the front, possibly the largest ones ever produced for any BMW model. The grille will be accompanied by slim LED headlights on two ends.

On the rear end, the upcoming model will feature slim LED tail lights which merge into the rear fenders after appearing from the edge of the trunk lid. The rear glass will also feature a wedge-shaped design which will show off a pair of BMW roundels. The German automaker went all out while designing the wheels for the new Concept XM - massive 23-inch 14-spoke wheels on each end complete with quad-exhaust tip lines along the rear end.

The interior of the Concept XM will be just as futuristic as the exterior. The driver-oriented cockpit will feature brown leather seats with a curved interface dashboard. The rear passengers will experience maximum comfort thanks to the diamond-stitched, aquamarine velvet bench seats.

The upcoming vehicle is likely to sport a V8-powered hybrid plug-in crossover engine which will produce a power output of 750 hp with a 1,000 Nm torque. It will also be able to travel 40 km just on its battery capacity thanks to the BMW’s new M Hybrid drive system.

Lastly, while the Concept XM is just a concept till now, we are hopeful that it will soon lead to a production version, leading to a final launch in the commercial market. While no other pricing details have been revealed, keeping in mind the luxurious experience and fantastic features it will offer, it will be pretty expensive.
