BMW teases new X3 M and X4 M in an action-packed video teaser
After several spy shots and leaks, BMW has finally released the official teaser of its upcoming X3 M and X4 M models. The teaser video sets a refresh in the ongoing campaign for the upcoming cars. However, it only gives away several flashes around the models and doesn’t really provide us with the information around a date for their debuts.
While the automaker released a 26 seconds long teaser video of the upcoming M siblings, the duration was enough to give us some ideas on the upcoming cars. The teaser highlights a new front-end design that is paired with a revised front intake in the shape of a hexagon.
Further, the different aspects of the video present us with the revised air intake on the front and distinctive L-shaped corner inlets. Towards the end of the 26 seconds video, we can also see the new three-dimensional DRL that is now hexagonal-shaped.
Talking about the distinctive rear end of the X4 M, the car doesn’t really show much difference in its design, the automaker seems to have retained its old looks. However, it seems like the sole shot of the X3 M has been blurred intentionally. Considering the modification in the video, we’re expecting the car to showcase new 3D tail lights, similar to what we saw in the leaked images of the car.
The leaked images of the X3 M and X4 M twins also presented us with a revised diffuser design, besides the slim L-shaped tail lights. Both the modifications in the looks of the car are quite subtle and might add to the looks of the offerings.
Lastly, users might expect the X3 and X4 M to derive their power from the same S58 3.0L twin-turbocharged straight-six engine that will be retained from the ongoing models. The mill gives out an impressive 480 hp of power, besides 600 Nm of peak torque at its base.
