Nissan possibly teases the 400Z new colour
During an event last week, the automaker Nissan seems to have teased a new colour for what seems to be its production-ready 400Z. Uncovered over a Livestream event known as the ‘NEXT Experience’, the event was filled with everything new that we can expect from the automaker for the present year.
Hosted by Nissan’s senior vice president of global design, Alfonso Albaisa, the Livestream witnessed the president being surrounded by a number of cars at the design studio. The cars surrounding him included the latest Frontier and Pathfinder, as well as the Patrol and the EV Ariya SUV. Further, the stream also comprises the bright-yellow Nissan Z Proto that was unveiled last year by the brand.
Rumours suggest that the car that was the centre of attraction for the spec-ready 400Z, covered in a light blue shade. While the car shares its stance identically with the Z Proto, the car did represent some differences, including revamped side skirts and different wheels. Further, its design language seems to lose the concept car‘s Z badge around its rear.
While there is a pleasant chance that we might have got to see the complete car, chances are that the car is a possible clay model and probably a misconception. The reason to back that belief is the car clearly lacks light and might just be wearing transport covers behind the wheels. However, nothing can be said for sure until the automaker provides further information.
Besides the suspected car, the Senior Vice President of Global Design Alfonso Albaisa, explained about the colour of their Z Proto where he explained. "There's so much pigment of yellow. It's so deep, it looks an inch thick,” Albaisa said. “The second you roll it out into the sunlight, you see this thing almost get plugged into an electrical socket. It becomes alive."
Lastly, we can’t really say anything strong about the 400Z new shade, it could be a devised strategy or a mistake. The end results will be clear as time passes.
