According to the carmaker, the new GT3 will be almost one percent faster on the track compared to its predecessor, all thanks to the improved aerodynamics, increased in the power, and revamped chassis.

Talking about the powertrain, the older generation’s 4.0-liter flat-six naturally aspirated engine is taken and has been tuned differently. The total power output is up by 25 hp at 510 hp and the latter is achieved at 8400 rpm. However, the peak torque remains unchanged at 470 Nm.

It features a dry-sump motor that demands a maintenance check after completing 100 hours on the track. Along with that, a minor inspection is required for the gearbox after every 60 hours. Talking about the body, it gets a wide-body shell for the first time, which is based on the 911 Turbo. Compared to the previous car, it is now 28mm wider and gets a pair of additional cooling vents.
