The Nissan Note is a cross between an SUV and a small-size hatchback. The boxy shape and raised seating lends a spacious and easy way to get in and out. The rear seat and the boot offer MPV-like flexibility but it doesn’t have the versatility. The 1.2-litre engine is surprisingly lively and even with a rather timid power output, it starts performing once up to the speed. The car struggles a bit when fully loaded. Nissan has built the car more as a utilitarian vehicle. You can take this car out for weekend trips. While the looks aren’t killer stuff, the Note is a performer.
