You get keyless access into the Impreza's cockpit. High-quality leather is used for seat covers, steering wheel, and gear shift knob. The seats are comfortable, and there is sufficient legroom and headroom inside the cabin. The audio system and navigation controls are accessible through an 8.0-inch display. The infotainment system can be accessed and connected with any smartphone using both Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Other features include steering wheel-mounted audio remote control switches, Bluetooth-compatible hands-free system, Single USB port, auxiliary input jack and HDMI Input (in centre panel), Dual USB ports in centre console box (power only), dual-zone automatic air-conditioning system with anti-dust filter, and heater ducts for rear passengers. The 60/40-split folding rear seats allow extra boot space.

The Subaru Impreza poses an eye-pleasing design. At the front, you get sleek LED headlamps, with auto leveler, fog lamps, and power-folding door mirrors with LED turn signal. The grille has been updated, and so is the bumper. On top, the power-sliding, tilt-adjustable, glass sunroof allows natural light and air inside the cabin. The Impreza is fitted with LED taillights and the signature shark fin antenna at the rear end. The 17-inch Aluminium-alloy Wheels are wrapped in 205/50 R17 tyres. One can choose from the seven available paint schemes - Ice Silver Metallic, Magnetite Grey Metallic, Crystal White Pearl, Dark Blue Pearl, Crystal Black Silica, Pure Red, and Quartz Blue Pearl. 

The Subaru Impreza offers a smooth handling and driving experience. Its sharp and direct electronic power steering ensures nimble handling. Featuring Subaru's adaptive cruise control, the Impreza offers an effortless driving experience on the highways and city roads. Unlike other cars, the system doesn't brake aggressively when driving in traffic. Instead, it gradually slows you down and even indicates that the car's brake lights are on. Suspension setup consists of MacPherson Strut at the front and Double Wishbone at the rear, which is more than capable of damping the jerks. 

Powering the Subaru Impreza is a 1995 cc, 4-cylinder, 16-valves, Direct-Injection Boxer engine that produces 154 hp of maximum power and 196 Nm of peak torque. This power is transmitted to all four wheels through a Lineartronic CVT transmission system. The symmetrical all-wheel-drive system allows the equal distribution of power to all four wheels. Subaru claims the Impreza can touch a top speed mark of 208 kmph and consumes 6.6 liters of fuel every 100 kms. Owing to Subaru's SI-Drive system, the driver can select between different drive modes. Selecting different drive modes based on the driving conditions results in better performance and lesser fuel consumption.

The Impreza comes equipped with ventilated disc brakes at the front and the rear. Subaru has developed the symmetrical all-wheel-drive system to provide double traction and double safety. The system continually monitors all the wheels and adapts to provide maximum road grip and outstanding control on every turn. Other notable safety features include four-sensor/four-Channel ABS with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, ISO-FIX adapted child seat anchors, brake assist, safety pedal system, brake override, side door reinforcement beams, engine immobilizer, SRS front, side and curtain airbags, Vehicle Dynamics Control System (VDCS), and SRS knee airbags.

Though there's a long list of options in the sedan segment, the Impreza does not fail to impress. It is a very stylish sedan and has several features. Fuel-efficiency is not at par with its competitors; however, you would surely be interested if you're into family sedans. The best part is that it is not that heavy on the pocket and thus a value for money option.
