Suzuki Jimny

Suzuki Jimmy has something unique about itself and that is the execution of plastics in the cabin which is hard to find in any other modern Suzuki vehicle. The plastics inside are soft and don't look cheap in any possible way. The gear shifter or the door panels are well designed even without pads to avoid hurting your knees.  

The articulation of the vehicle is portrayed by the media tester that comes with a yellow-green stitched leather accessory on the front side. Moreover, the cabin of this vehicle is colonized with a retro appeal because of the self-separated orange-lit gauge clusters.

The all-new Suzuki Jimny is a perfect combination of traditional styling and modern amenities. The vehicle is well equipped with round headlights and LED projectors along with headlamp washers and physical leveling. The 15-inch wheels are a bit narrow but are still enough with a good thing that is dark metallic gray alloy rims. 

The jungle green paint color of the Jimny is the best part as it shares contrast with a black roof that goes perfectly with the car. The Jimny is still trivial in size regardless of its rise in size and this hatchback is indeed a head-turner on the road.

In terms of ride and handling, the Suzuki Jimny is pretty decent offering stable and smooth rides on highways. The engine sounds can be heard more loudly when one reaches the legal speed limit that is around 3,000 rpm. The handling is safe and secure even if the vehicle is overtaken and the pedal is pushed to the metal. 

Winding roads drive is not that terrific but there can be moments of understeer which can be tackled well with the help of stability control. The vehicle can be tough to handle during tight situations but convenient while drifting given its tight grip steering wheel.

Suzuki Jimny has been offered a four-cylinder 200cc petrol engine which delivers a power output of 100 bhp and a torque of 95lb-ft that is more than that of its previous model. Jimny is not offering any kind of turbo, hybrid assistance, and neither any diesel variant. The 1.5-litre engine revs gruffly and gets a shouting match with a five-speed manual gearbox. 

The acceleration is less and the top speed of the vehicle can go up to 90mph. An automatic unit has also been made available but that has been offered just four gears which are very few and would need plenty of revs to do anything.

The Singapore-spec Jimny is equipped with dual-front airbags and a seatbelt reminder for the safety of both the driver and passenger. There are three-point seatbelts for the occupants and two ISOFIX tethers along with side-impact door beams. Moreover, they have also offered hill hold and descent control along with ABS and brake assist for better handling of the vehicle. 

Although, the Suzuki Jimny cannot be termed as the safest vehicle to buy in the present time they are just enough for the driver to feel safe. The feeling of rigidity is all because of the ladder frame structure.

The fourth generation of Suzuki Jimny is more than just a fashion statement. It's more like an opening for the people who want it instead of needing it. Jimny is a perfect choice for the bachelors and young professionals. 

Now if one considers all the recent upgrades and modifications from its earlier model then Suzuki Jimny is worth the price. Moreover, this hatchback has come a long way given its past and the additional price tag. The demand for this vehicle in the market is still worth the features that it has got to offer to its customers.
