A bitter experience

I bought a brand new Audi Q3 directly from Audi Singapore.After a months, the chrome roof rails have discolouration and the condition deteriorated . I informed the audi service centre during my first car servicing but the service guy Shawn said that they couldn't do anything at their branch and I was told me to send my car to another service centreat Ubi. So they booked an appointment a week later. On the day of appointment, while I was about to arrive at the service centre, they called to inform me that nothing can be done and hence appointment is cancelled. I was confused.I told the service guy Shawn to inform their authority in charge regarding the condition of my car. Much later the manager Sebastian called me and abruptly claimed that the chrome roof railing have oxidized due to Singapore's hot weather.I am flabbergasted. Why was I not informed during my purchase and why do they sell cars in a country which is not made for? This is unprecedented, never encounter cars with such inferior quality. He then retorted that he does not know about other cars but he assured me that even if I would have paid for replacement of the new chrome roof railing they will definitely oxidize too. He later instructed his subordinate to quote me a 'special ' price for the chrome roof rails of S$3000 ($2400+labour charge $600). Unbelievable after sales service.
