The 2021 Audi TT Roadster was launched by the German carmaker earlier this year in some countries. However, there are no clear plans for the latest model to enter the Singapore market. The last update on the TT Roadster featured mild design changes and feature upgrades; though, the styling tweaks are hard to spot. There were no changes under the hood. It comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine in two lines and three trims – the 40 TFSI, the 45 TFSI, and the 45 TFSI Quattro. Audi increased the number of standard equipment and features that you get with the entry-level TT. Now, the standard features include Audi drive select dynamic handling, heated mirror, a multifunction steering wheel, Audi virtual cockpit, light and rain sensors; illuminated USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity are also now offered as standards. Seventeen-inch wheels come standard on the TT and 18s on the TTS. Optional sizes include 19-inch and 20-inch wheels. The Audi TT Roadster starts retailing at SGD 232,600. There are no direct competitors for the TT Roadster in Singapore.

TT Roadster Exterior
It looks very sporty from every angle, especially from the front. The front features a single-frame radiator grille, LED headlights, and large side air inlets. Power adjustable exterior rearview mirrors are fitted at both sides at the front, and the wipers are equipped with rain-sensing technology. Sharp lines run through the sides, all the way to the rear. At the rear, you get LED taillights, the five-ring branding on the trunk, and dual exhaust pipes. Minor tweaks to the rear fascia can be spotted right above the exhaust pipes. The convertible roof can be removed with a click of a button; the TT Roadster looks more sporty without the top.

The Audi TT Roadster offers a smooth ride experience and nimble handling. The electronic power steering makes it easy to steer the convertible through sharp turns and hilly roads. Moreover, the Audi drive select feature allows you to choose drive modes best-suited to conditions. MacPherson Strut performs suspension duties at the front and Multi-Link at the rear.

The Audi TT Roadster is currently available in three variants - the 40 TFSI, the 45 TFSI (MT and S tronic), and the 45 TFSI quattro. Powering the TT Roadster is a 1984cc, 4-cylinder, 16-valves, DOHC inline petrol engine that generates 194 hp of maximum power and 320 Nm of peak torque. The front-wheel-drive options, i.e. the 40 TFSI and the 45 TFSI are offered with both six-speed manual or seven-speed S Tronic transmission options, while the 45 TFSI Quattro trim is offered only with an S Tronic transmission. As per company claims, the Audi TT Roadster can clock a top speed of a whopping 247 kmph and touch the 100 kmph mark from zero in just 6.9 seconds.
