Entry-level to premium SUV range
This BMW X1 might be the entry level model to the big X series SUVs from BMW, but the pricing is very steep. But even with a $200,000 price tag, this X1 does not fail to impress, just the way it impressed me the first time I took a test drive around 18 months ago. It is quite expected that a car of this caliber and price will be comfortable and powerful, but I want to address the design. If you are thinking that you have got your hands on a limo-like SUV, you are wrong. This X1 is big, but with my ownership experience, it feels cramped up for room if there are 3 decently healthy people sitting in the second row. But apart from that, there isn’t anything to complain about. And I love the ambient lighting of the cabin and the fact that even the rear seat can be adjustable for additional comfort.
