Jerks to a stop every time

Have got the 2019 BMW X1 sDrive18i. For me the big issue is the very aggressive engine auto-start stop function. If you are buying, do a detailed test drive and see if the jerky ride bothers you. When you hold the brakes (even gentle braking) and the car slows down to ~2km/h, the engine cuts off and JERKS to 0 km/h immediately. Called the service centre a few times: its either live with it or turn off the auto-start stop function every time you start the car. One suggested that I shouldn't brake so aggressively. Well, some drivers don't mind it, so do test it carefully before you commit!
