The Scala certainly looks different than any other car in its class. Skoda has ditched the Octavia’s saloon-like profile and has lent a proper hatchback silhouette to the Scala. The car now has its own style. The 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine does feel a bit underpowered during long drives. But within the city, the Scala is a great performer. The ride comfort of the Skoda Scala is excellent. This is because of the great suspension. It absorbs all bumps and thuds. Under hard acceleration, you may feel the engine noise inside the cabin. But the overall ride quality is comfortable.
