Audi completes its A3 lineup with two new offerings!

Following a batch of teaser images and an official preview by the brand, the automaker Audi has finally completed its A3 lineup. Adding to its lineup is the topped-out RS3 performance version, with RS3 Sportback and RS 3 Sedan duo.

Following a long gap of over 40 years after its initial introduction, the RS3 Sportback and RS3 Sedan debut as third- and second-generation models respectively. Interestingly, the automaker has kept up with the same flare in its offering with its 401-horsepower turbo five-cylinder engine, standard all-wheel-drive with torque vectoring.

However, the major addition to the revised offering is the duo’s aggressive looks, making the vehicle more prominent meaner looks than its predecessor. Talking of the revised design language, the automaker adapts to the latest design language, paired to a honeycomb grille and LED setup, adding to the futuristic bit of the looks.

Other minute revision lies in the car’s appearance can be noticed around the new RS3's track, which is slightly wider than before.

Further, the newly introduced variant also provides its users with torque-vectoring all-wheel drive, offered in the five-door “Sportback” and a four-door sedan.

Now, talking about the performance of the five-speed engine, the new RS3 duo’s share a similar powertrain, resulting in a similar output for both the offerings. The car now gives out a 401hp of power and 500Nm of peak torque. The engine has been finetuned in its latest offering to add up to 7 hp of increased power and 15Nm of peak torque over the predecessor U.S.-spec 2020 RS3.

As per the automaker, the next generational offering will be sprinting to 100km per hour speeds in 3.8 seconds. Mated to the powertrain is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, which comes standard.

Lastly, it is said that only the sedan will be welcomed in the American market. However, the automaker didn’t completely deny the fact that it was considering bringing the hatchback over. Whatever the case, the entire RS3 family promises to be more dynamic than ever.
